Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

Internal flaw detection via high-frequency pulse-echo techniques.

Non-destructive inspection of internal material discontinuities and thickness measurement. Our UT experts utilize phased array (PAUT) and time-of-flight diffraction (TOFD) for precise sub-surface diagnostic mapping.

Where we deliver Ultrasonic Testing (UT)

MPIA Services is based in Durban (also known as eMkhomazi), KwaZulu-Natal, on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, and delivers Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on site across all nine South African provinces. Our mobile field units travel to the asset, so inspections run in place — on live rail corridors, in yards and depots, and at industrial and construction sites — rather than requiring components to be shipped to a laboratory. Teams regularly work throughout KwaZulu-Natal, including Durban, Amanzimtoti, Scottburgh and Pietermaritzburg, and mobilise nationally for campaign work.
